The Problem

Counterfeit skincare products are a growing concern, with many products sold online and in-store being fake or tampered with. This leads to wasted money, ineffective products, and even skin damage.

Users can scan the barcode to verify its authenticity. The app checks the product against a comprehensive database of genuine products and alerts the user if the product is counterfeit.

The Home Page welcomes users with a personalized experience, displaying a list of their past scans for easy reference. For new users, a prompt invites them to start scanning, guiding them through the experience. The intuitive design ensures that users have seamless transition into the platform's features, which therefore empowers them to navigate through the process effortlessly.

Scan Screen

The Scan Screen enables users to verify product authenticity with ease, simply by scanning the barcode. The intuitive interface guides users through the scanning process, providing a seamless experience. If the product is genuine, the screen displays detailed product information, confirming its authenticity. However, if the product is counterfeit, a clear error message appears, alerting the user to potential fraud. This screen ensures a swift and secure verification process, allowing users to make informed decisions.
